Exhibition Review | Baosiwei Showcases Digital Packaging Printing at the Yiwu Packaging Printing Exhibition
Summary
The 2026 Yiwu Packaging Printing Exhibition concluded successfully from September 6 to 8. Baosiwei showcased its 16-head digital packaging printer and integrated production line, focusing on digital printing solutions for small-batch and multi-design packaging orders.
This exhibition highlighted three key advantages of Baosiwei’s digital packaging printing solution: no plate making, integrated production, and industrial-grade quality.

01 No Plate Making for More Flexible Short-Run Production
Traditional packaging printing often involves plate making, plate changes, and setup costs. For small orders with frequent design changes, these fixed costs can make production less economical.
Baosiwei’s digital packaging printer requires no plate making. Digital files can be sent directly to the printer, reducing setup time and eliminating the plate-making process.
This makes the solution suitable for small batches, multiple SKUs, urgent orders, replenishment orders, and frequent design changes. For orders of up to around 1,000 pieces, digital printing provides a more flexible production method with fewer upfront setup requirements.

02 Integrated Production from Printing to Finishing
At the exhibition, Baosiwei demonstrated more than a standalone digital printer. The solution connects key production stages into one continuous workflow:
Feeding → Printing → Web Guiding → Lamination → Cutting / Rewinding
Materials move through the main processes without repeated manual transfer between separate machines. This helps simplify production and reduce manual handling.
For short runs, urgent jobs, and frequent job changes, an integrated line can help improve workflow efficiency and shorten the time from printing to finished packaging.
The focus is not simply on digital printing, but on connecting printing with key finishing processes such as lamination and cutting.

03 16-Head Industrial Configuration for Production
The Baosiwei 16-head digital packaging printer displayed at the exhibition is equipped with 16 Epson i3200-A1 printheads, providing a 1.8-meter print width and a maximum speed of up to 200 m²/h.
With a multi-head industrial configuration, the system is designed to support the continuous production requirements of packaging manufacturers.
During the exhibition, the machine was demonstrated with both printing and finishing processes. Printed graphics showed clear details and sharp small text, while special colors were reproduced accurately. The lamination process produced a smooth and even finish with reduced bubbles and wrinkles.
The cutting process achieved an accuracy of 0.5 mm, with clean edges and no obvious burrs or paper debris.
With its printing speed, industrial configuration, and connected printing-to-finishing workflow, the solution demonstrates how digital packaging printing can move beyond sampling and into practical small-batch production.

From a Standalone Printer to a Complete Production Solution
At Yiwu, Baosiwei presented a digital packaging printing solution built around the actual production needs of packaging manufacturers.
For businesses handling small batches, multiple designs, urgent orders, and frequent job changes, no-plate printing reduces the initial setup process, integrated production simplifies finishing, and the 16-head configuration provides the production capacity needed for continuous operation.
By connecting printing, web guiding, lamination, and cutting/rewinding, Baosiwei aims to help packaging manufacturers expand the role of digital printing in real-world production.
More to Come
The 2026 Yiwu Packaging Printing Exhibition has come to a successful close. We thank everyone who visited the Baosiwei booth and shared their production needs and ideas with our team.
The exhibition provided valuable insight into the growing demand for short-run, multi-design, and fast-turnaround packaging production. Baosiwei will continue to develop digital packaging printing solutions around real production requirements and improve equipment performance for packaging manufacturers.
The next stop is Foshan, October 28–30. See you there!
